Backcountry Tours What Is The Best Ski Jacket For Backcountry Ski Touring?

What is the best ski jacket for backcountry ski touring? - backcountry tours

I'm looking for recommendations from the experience of skiing in this case. I am looking for an extremely lightweight (\\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt; 1 pound), water-resistant outer layer that is easily foldable, if they are not needed.

Which brands and models that you recommend?

I wore a big ski jacket in heavy woods again ... was a mistake. He spent most of my time in my backpack.

Usually my Marmot rain rain shell hide in my backpack if I need something waterproof. If they need me on the path that is breathable enough to permanently dry, or start a lift and if I fall, has done the work for you to regain storage or car.

I have a variety of mid-layers ranging from shirts, jackets, vests, stripping Windbloc, the sweater. 9 out of 10 cases in the middle of my coat is enough for me all day, and when it rains or snows, the clouds do the job.

I've Shell in 2001 and is still in very good shape. Some delamination here and there but nothing major. I also use it throughout the summer, hiking.
